The technique for today is the 5-finger rasgueado with CAMIP which is one of the most unique rasgueados in flamenco guitar. It is played with a downward dragging motion using each finger, starting with the little finger (C) and ending with the thumb (P).
Compared to all of the other rasgueados this one purposely does not exhibit clear separation between the fingers. Instead, each finger starts extending slightly just before the previous finger completes its movement through the strings. In this video, I share examples of the CAMIP rasgueado as well as a few exercises to help you develop this technique correctly. This video is appropriate for beginner to intermediate students of both flamenco and classical guitar.
